⬥ What does your character consider to be their top 3 strengths?

Akira puts heavy stock in his physical and mental fortitude, which allows him to dig in his heels and fight it out when he’s in dangerous or challenging situations -- his ability to fight back is critical to him. He also prides himself on his strong moral compass, and will always do everything in his power to act in a way that he himself can respect. Lastly, he considers his powers of communication another strength; it lets him win people over with his charisma, and lets him connect emotionally and mentally with his friends.

⬥ What do others consider to be your character's worst weakness?

His friends will tell you that he tends to take on others’ burdens as his own and headbutts into their lives to solve the problem for them. This leads to him coming off as overbearing and bossy -- and can lead others to neglect responsibility for tackling their own issues, because ‘Akira will take care of it’, ‘Akira will protect me’, ‘Akira will make the hard choices’. And like anyone else, when put under too much pressure (that he mostly piles on himself), he will start to come undone.

⬥ How does your character interact with others?

On the most surface level, Akira comes off as serious and quiet -- though not because he’s shy (he just plays his cards extremely close to his chest). Around friends or those he has decided are ‘good’ (typically someone downtrodden, rebellious, or unfairly wronged) he is looser, quick-witted, and affable. Around anyone who even looks like an authority figure and especially a corrupt one, he’ll be cold or outright hostile, and has a very hard time changing his negative opinion of someone once it’s formed. (It is possible though -- after a full semester of being forced to collaborate closely with Akechi, and despite all of his own best efforts, Akira has developed quite a bit of respect for him.)

⬥ What motivates or drives your character?

Akira is driven strongly by his moral compass, and he absolutely under no circumstances will be dissuaded from this. The biggest reason he worked so hard for the Phantom Thieves is because he believed in his own justice and was willing to put his life on the line for it. He is also driven by indignation at others’ actions towards him or society, or in the worst circumstances, just plain anger (of the kind so all-consuming that his precious moral compass can accidentally take a backseat).

⬥ How does your character spend their free time?

Akira has a variety of activities that he does in his free time — you could make an entire video game about it! — but one that he often comes back to is cooking, even when he's not helping out at the café he lives above. Being surprisingly dutiful for someone who breaks rules all the time, he spends a lot of his time on schoolwork (though he likes learning new things, he also understands how to pick his battles against an unjust society and homework isn't a hill he will die on). He is known to enjoy shooting the shit with his friends, and also shooting the shit out of Shadows.

⬥ What is your character's greatest wish?

In the third semester’s perfect world, Akira’s wishes were to see his friends happy and stay in Tokyo forever… but of course, the perfect world wasn’t so perfect after all, and his true desires are different and much more Foolish. Akira’s greatest wish is to become, and remain, free. Free to make his own choices, free to go or stay where he wants and help or harm people as he sees fit, free from control or dictation or oppression placed upon him by others.

→ ACCEPTED Congratulations, your character is accepted! When Akira decides to explore the area around the lake, he'll find a group of Aipoms ganging up on a single Morpeko. They taunt her as they hold berries high up in the air with their tail, keeping them just out of her reach. The Morpeko lets out a teary frustrated cry before a spark of light engulfs it and it morphs to its Hangry Mode. It then proceeds to, well, in a lack of better terms... beat the living shit out of each Aipom to get back what is rightfully hers. They still outnumber her, though, and she cries to Akira for help.
