History: Bailey is the second child to a family known for magical ability - something they lacked. Instead, they had the ability to see ghosts and sense the emotions of others, and they grew up wanting to use those abilities to help the spirits stuck on earth. They would sneak out of the house to do it in their adolescent and teenager years, which is how they met Felix, a (relatively) young vampire. Felix would become Bailey’s first friend, and when Bailey moved out for college they moved in with Felix. They chose to pursue psychology, and after graduation were able to get a job with the New Lodgins Supernatural Support agency. Helping ghosts, obviously.

⬥ What does your character consider to be their top 3 strengths?
Their compassion - they care deeply about everyone they want to meet, and want to help them any way they can. They’re also incredibly patient, and believe in giving people second chances. They’re also rather optimistic, tending to see the best in everyone and every situation.
⬥ What do others consider to be your character's worst weakness?
They’re too reckless, getting theirself into situations they can’t control or handle on the regular. They’re passive, and let theirself get walked over and used by others with bad intentions. They also bottle up all of their emotions, and don’t express theirself to others.
⬥ How does your character interact with others?
Bailey tends to be soft-spoken and quiet, only speaking when they have something to say and they try their best to give people their space. They aren’t very physical, and tend to keep a wide personal bubble.
⬥ What motivates or drives your character?
They want to help people, living and dead, find ways to live their (un)lives as happily and safely as possible. They just want to help people find peace and closure, and to make people smile.
⬥ How does your character spend their free time?
They spend a lot of time playing phone games in their downtime, or watching their roommate make a fool of theirself. They enjoy their quiet time, and will happily spend a night curled up with tea and some Netflix.

They want to be able to stand up for theirself and to make a big enough change in the world that people feel safe and happy.

Powers: •Empathy Bailey can feel and sense the emotions of others. However, they cannot influence their emotions in any sort of supernatural way. Their feelings are their own, Bailey is just Aware of them.
•Medium Bailey is capable of seeing, talking to, and touching ghosts and other forms of otherworldly spirits. They appear as solid, real people, though with a hollowness to their eyes that denotes them as dead - barring inhuman spirits, who’s shapes and forms are varied and many and clearly inhuman. They are no more subject to possession than a non-medium.
•Magical Attunement They can sense the presence of magic, both in people, the world, and in items. They can pinpoint the type and effect of the magic, though they cannot influence or change it in any way.

When Bailey first steps outside, they hear a panicked cry just before something ice cold and wet slips up their pant leg: a Dreepy who's fled from a pack of wild Gastly who have been chasing her around all day. The Gastly surrounds them, and one of them licks Bailey on the face before they all scatter, cackling to themselves. Bailey's face might be numb for about hour... but at least the Dreepy sticks with them to make sure they're okay. She's going to feel guily about this for like twelve and a half days. ):
