Bonus rewards are earned by players by submitting additional threads over what is required for AC. Bonuses come in the form of Pokemon levels, game effects, plot clues, items, and canon regains (including abilities, items, and animal companions).

While threads may be submitted at any time, they must be started within the current or past month to count towards bonuses (e.g. during October, threads started in September or October may be submitted at any time, but threads started in August or earlier can no longer be turned in). In addition, each thread must have at least five comments from you. For each three threads submitted, players earn one bonus of their choice, plus one randomized bonus. Players have the option of accepting or ignoring the extra bonuses as they wish. Bonuses do not have to be played out right away, but expire by one month from the date they were received.

Restrictions:

⬥ Pokemon can gain 5 levels with each bonus, up to a maximum of 10 levels (2 bonuses) per calendar month. Note: Pokemon who were traded (eg they have a different Original Trainer) can gain a maximum of 15 levels (3 bonuses) per calendar month.
⬥ Plot clues are limited to one per calendar month and players must specify what topic they want information on.
⬥ Regaining canon abilities may need to be tiered; please discuss with a mod.

"The humans have always been trying to fight you, huh?"

Gyarados nods its head up and down. Yeah, humans are shit. Can't believe it's stuck in a lake surrounded by a whole lot of them.

"That's all we're good at. Fighting. You're just out here trying to help your kids."

It sounds genuine, but Akira says this while he continually provides more berries.

"Did you always live here?"

It's all they're good at, but they still suck at it, considering nobody's been able to defeat the Gyarados yet.

The Gyarados would probably make itself dizzy shaking its head back and forth so it lets out a roar of denial, devoid of the anger and threat of its usual roars, and leans towards the northwest. Coincidence? Who knows!

"So humans took you here, too. Did you live out by the rocky beach?" Up to the northwest... that's supposed to be the haunted beach, right?

But here is where the Magikarp are.

"Maybe... we have to get you and your friends back there."

The Gyarados leans a little further, and then flops down into the water— it lived way further out than the beach, in the ocean instead of the coast. It doesn't really know about friends (Azuril? what Azuril) but if it and its family can get out of this lake and back at sea, that would be ideal.

For all that it's been talked to, though, Gyarados believes in action over words! How will Akira, or the rest of the group, win its trust? Joonghyuk over there is prepared to just throw fists and prove his strength.
